With this technology we can print (emboss) on the materials such as leather, leatherette and paper. When embossing using this technology it is necessary to create an embossing die in the shape of the logo motif and make it from a material with the good heat conduction.. The embossing die is made out of brass and engraved by hand or by machine; this is time-consuming and therefore relatively expensive, but the die, once manufactured and paid, becomes the property of the customer and can be used at any time in the future as its durability is almost unlimited.
After the die is fixed in the embossing machine it is heated to the required temperature and the motif is then embossed onto the item using heat and pressure.
The most commonly embossed promotional items are wallets, diaries and labels. For this method of embossing the brass dies are used as they are better heat conductors.
We use embossing either with metal foil (so-called blind embossing, which creates a very decent and discreet logo relief on the surface of the object) or with metal foil (so-called foil stamping, which creates a highly distinctive relief in the chosen metal foil colour (gold, silver, blue, etc.).
