Tampon printing

With this technology a silicon tampon is used to transfer the paint from the printing form to the target item. The printing form is a plate of various dimensions, according to the machine type, where the places that are to be printed are hollowed out. The machine dashes the paint upon the plate and then wipes it off with a special blade in such a way that the ink only remains in the hollowed-out places. Then the silicon tampon is pressed onto this plate,  so that the paint from the hollowed-out places is applied on it and then it is pressed onto the printed object onto which the dye is transferred.  

This technology is used to print onto all kinds of materials (plastics, glass, metal, wood, leather, ceramics…). The tampon printing is particularly suitable for smaller objects, for example ballpoint pens, bottle openers, key rings, etc. Even highly detailed logos can be printed using tampon printing. For the printing of promotional items we use inks made by world-renowned manufacturers, which are both single and double-component. Thanks to a computer mixing system we are able to mix exact colour shades according to the standard colour systems, such as Pantone, RAL, and others.

For printing we use both simpler single-colour machines and multi-coloured electronic machines.
